Mantis World speaks at House of Lords

Source invited Mantis World founder Prama to attend a talk at the House of Lords chaired by Baroness Lola Young. Baroness Lola Young has a real passion for ethical business and is committed to Africa’s future development.

It all sounded very exciting – a symposium about ethical business, practices and networking sitting along side like minded forward facing people. Then Prama read the small print. Not only was she invited to attend, she expected to talk as well – deliver a presentation about the work of Mantis in Tanzania and how she and the company got to where they are today.

The goal is to set the parameters for a focused discussion about possible initiatives relating to the growing ethical textile industry and cotton made in Africa.

Trade not Aid business model

As we post this blog we imagine she’s speaking right now. Wish her luck!
